Two days to boost impact: a look back at Founders & Investor Day 2025

On the 17th and 18th of September, Mas Salagros (Vallromanes) became the epicentre of the Ship2B Ventures community. Over the course of two consecutive days, we held the Founders Day and Investor Day, two gatherings designed to accelerate the shift towards an impact-driven economy by bringing together those leading this transformation: committed entrepreneurs and investors.

Founders Day: a space for pause, connection and growth

Founders Day is our annual gathering with the Ship2B Impact Makers community, a space designed for impact startup founders to take a step back, reconnect with one another, and share learnings in a trusted environment.

This year, we were joined by leading figures from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including Silvio Elías (Veritas), Carlota Pi (Holaluz), Timo Buetefisch (Cooltra), Lucas Carné (Privalia, 011h), and Cristian Rodríguez (ByHours, Mutte Ventures). Through intimate conversations and small group activities, they shared their experience and offered valuable feedback to the community.

The day began with our peer-to-peer circles, where founders discussed their current main challenges and received input from their peers, a dynamic that encourages collective learning based on real-life experience.

One of the most memorable moments was the “rural speed dating”, an activity designed to address issues related to team building and management.

In the afternoon, the focus shifted to how to scale both business and impact without losing the essence. Through various group exercises, we reflected on each startup’s ecosystem barriers and how to turn them into opportunities for growth.

Founders Day once again proved to be that space where Impact Makers inspire, support, and empower each other on their path towards transformative impact.

Investor Day: five years of impact and a look ahead

The following day, we held Investor Day 2025 under the theme: “From Vision to Impact: 5 Years and Beyond”. An exclusive gathering for our investor community to reflect on the first five years of the BSocial Impact Fund, showcase our new investments, and share Ship2B Ventures’ long-term vision.

The day opened with two inspiring talks by Meritxell Batet, former President of the Spanish Congress of Deputies and trustee of the Ship2B Foundation, and Genís Roca, co-founder of Roca Salvatella and expert in business transformation and digital culture. “We are living in a time where cooperation is more important than ever. In the face of global conflicts, developing innovation with social and environmental impact is key,” said Batet; “The emergence of Artificial Intelligence will mark a paradigm shift comparable to the Industrial Revolution. Adapting to this transformation will be essential,” added Roca.

Throughout the day, investors had the opportunity to meet the latest additions to our impact portfolio 011h, Aortyx, Centros Torguet, and Nido, engaging directly with their founders on the innovative solutions they’re developing to tackle major social and environmental challenges.

The second part of the day was dedicated to presenting our new Impact Report, highlighting the results of the fund’s 30+ startups. We shared our approach to driving systemic change and opened the floor to discuss Ship2B Ventures’ roadmap for the future.

A community that multiplies impact

Founders Day and Investor Day are far more than annual events, they are a tangible demonstration that when entrepreneurs and investors come together with a shared purpose, the potential for creating real impact multiplies. In 2025, we reaffirm our belief: the future of the economy must be built with purpose, long-term vision, and the strength of a community committed to change.
